I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. My family always gets together on Christmas Eve for lunch/dinner and just spending time together. Today we took dinner to the care center where my dad is and they were kind enough to allow us to use their conference room so that we could have our dinner with him in a private setting. It wasn't what dad really wanted but was the best that we could do for him. He did enjoy it. I'm grateful that we can spend another Christmas with him. I hope you all get to spend some good quality time to relax with your loved ones.

Merry Christmas, Lucy - so good you could spend dinner with your dad. Nothing is very much what you want anymore, but every moment you can still be together is so precious. I'm far away from my mum and dad this year - I will call them in the afternoon (I'm in the US), maybe Skype if my mum can figure it out - but we can feel our love across the miles. No time to be sad, just cherish what we have.
