Today when my plumber had his head in the boiler hoping that it will last a bit longer he said out of the blue to me, I have known him years mind, Julie you are the strongest person I know.
When he had gone I thought about it and knowledge gives you power and power can give you strength if used properly. I know I have changed dramatically during this nightmare voyage but and a big but some changes have been positive , sometimes it is hard to think past the grind.
Anyway no more amateur philosophy you all enjoy your weekend I am about to make my first mince pies not sure how far I will get his nibs not so good today.

At times we dont realize our own strength, but if you look back and think about what you have done you will raelize you are a hero, at least in the eyes of your husband....enjoy your mince pie
Know what you mean Julie. I too, have grown enormously as a person. I have much more confidence in myself and my ability to cope with life. My inner strength, which I now recognise was always there, has come to the fore.
Shame I still, on a daily basis, collapse into a heap of tears, screaming I can't do this any longer.
It's a pity, I didn't discover this about myself at the age of 11. I could have ruled the world. Move over Mrs May, your time is numbered. My first job would be sort out CHC funding, then the District Nurses and their attitude. Oh, and I would build a wall, not sure where , but thats what you do, isn't it????
I'm definitely stronger now than I was 6 years ago. A horrible way to become stronger but it is something positive. You have a good week and I'll think of you all when I'm in Budapest........if I hear the alarm at 4am tomorrow morning ⏱✈️
I still have a way to go being super assertive but am making headway. As you say you do t realise how strong you have to become just to get by on this horrendous journey. Keep on keeping on and use you newfound strength to the full.
