Feeling so blessed that I found this site it' terrible in one respect that we are on it but so comforting to know that when your having a extremely bad day that someone truly understands where you are coming from, when someone asks how is it going? It's not one thing it's numerous 24/7. Blessings to all. Nettie

Love to you Nettie xxxx
I agree Nettie, the people on this site are so nice and totally understand you unlike some of the professionals I could mention!
Sending you hugs....Pat xx
Yes you are right, it's hundreds of little things going wrong, 24/7. I don't think it would possible to truly tell someone else what we are going through. My sister has just spent the last two days with me and S in hospital. She knew it was a rare disease, but was totally shocked, that not one person knew anything about PSP, in fact, only one out of the many that dealt with us, had even heard about it!
Lots of love

I am also grateful for this site.
You are so right, I get that question every day..."How is your husband?" and I don't even know what to say anymore! It's is usually, "Doing okay."

Yes. You are so right! When you are immersed in this nightmare, it is hard not to give the answer in overload!! They want to know he is getting better - and that is something you can't tell them, and what is really happening - well, unless they are like us, it is too much information! The best answer is 'He is doing OK' like you say.
Hang in there, stay positive, ddo your best, and make him happy and as comfy as you can for as long as you are able! My mantra at present! So far it is working for me - even if I am not winning!
