nice recipe, I will have to try adding cinnamon and honey to my sweet potatoe and red lentil soup same as yours but add 100 gm of red lentils instead of carrot cook for no more than 20 min or else starts becoming solid unless add more water. I also add garlic finely chopped if I remember.
Thanks for this. As my hubby has to have a soft diet, soups can be brilliant as they are nutritious and tasty (except sea weed soup, yuk!). My son bought me a book that has a different soup for every day of the year and your isn't in it. I do make sweet potato soup but like Tim, haven't added cinnamon or honey to it. I will next time. I'll have to leave out the curry powder for C though. I definitely don't want to upset his delicate constitution. May do it for me though.
