Thank you Julie, I have looked and found it on eBay, I'm sure it will help Keith, he's having great difficulty getting in and out of our car! I have to more or less shove him in and push his head down to miss the roof of the car and hang on to him so he doesn't fall sideways on to the drivers seat! I'm sure you all know what I mean,
know exactly what you mean rog usually managed the sideways shuffle but this gadget eliminates this! what our philosophy is to maintain independence for as long as poss
I use to use a plastic bag on the seat then when John got so far into car , That's another atory lol whoever was driving would catch hold of him while push to get him in the middle did the same getting out push from behind as I help him out .
These posts are so funny! My wife left my daughter in charge while she brought lawn chairs, supplies, etc. from the pool area to the car for trip home. By the time she got back, I was laying on my back in the front seat with my legs hanging out the door and my daughter was bent over crosswise half in half out. Jill dropped the lawn chairs and came running, saying something about leaving amatuers in charge. We all ended up laughing!
Its a fab gadget isn't it. Malc can now get out the the car more or less unaided which boosts his confidence. Thought I had put the details on the forum, maybe not - but you can also buy it through Amazon and their price and delivery were excellent.
