Thank you
A little PS to my response earlier; make sure your dad is measured first. I asked my dad's GP if dad could have them as he was phoning me when he needed to "go" as he couldn't get up quick enough. By the time I drove the 4 minutes it took to get there, too late. He said he would arrange it. A few days later one of dad's visiting carers phoned me and asked me what she was supposed to do with the condom like things dad had been sent. He hadn't been sent any bags or the other things required. When he finally got the other stuff, the convene was too small and he couldn't urinate as it was too tight. Some surgeries have continence nurses, others district nurses. They must measure your dad and when the convenes arrive, go to your house and show your mum/ carers etc, how to put them on and change them etc. Once you know it is a doddle but we had several stuck to rubber gloves at the beginning.
Best wishes.
