Visited Rose today and she was in the residents lounge watching the T.V. intently, she did not say one single word, usually she makes a sound and loks at me but nothing today! Very strange although she didn't have a frown or get agitated but just as if she didn't know who I was?Any answers?

hi nannygoon

it is so sad 4 u watching your sister change so much and i do not know what to say to help u thro' these dark days of he r letting go (when she does that is)

i have a friend dying of inoperable intestinal cancer but until she stops drinking water or juice she will not let go and bring the torture of those around her to an end (or a new beginning )

her family have been great but it is her husband i feel the most for - she was his rock and he is devastated already

sorry i cannot offer u more

;lol JILL

hugs and xxxx to yourself and Rose

Thank you Jill, the fact that you take time to answer is a great comfort. The nursing home Rose is in is great and just like a home from home, we can make tea,sit in the lounge or go to Rose's room. Just got to take these changes on board and hope she is not having too much pain take care and thanks again love your posts!!!
