Even though I lost my mum 6 months ago I still come on this site nearly everyday and feel your headache watching loved ones deteriorate is the hardest thing to watch. I won't wish you all merry Xmas but try to enjoy the best you can , sending hugs to all xxx

Thank you! We try so hard to live as close to normal as possible. This season I hard. Everything takes twice as long as it used to. But now, with everything in place, it is beautiful and peaceful. We have learned much from this site, but mostly about love and attitude and "carrying on!". Have a blessed holiday season!
I lost my mum to ALS (lou gehrig disease) recently - and I still visit the old support-forum ;D I think it will take more than 6 months to say goodbye to it, but... the day will come, hopefully.
Sadly, I have a dad, who is in his 4th year with PSP - and I cannot find a support-forum i Denmark, so I am very happy to have found this place.
We all gather so much knowledge about our loved ones terminal diseases, that we often tends to know more abut it than the GP - and I guess, that is just how it is.
All the best.
