First thing I would like to say is that I have a very stiff my neck Now on my right side my shoulder feels like a million ants are crawling on my shoulder then it begins to tingle almost to the point that it burns all day long this goes on rubbing from my oldest boy helps a lot my question is this has any body else had something like this ?

my husband's says his neck is always stiff and he has difficulty moving it, though he does still have movement from side to side. If he tries to bend his beck backwards he will fall backwards. He's not said that his shoulder feels tingly or anything. He's always had shoulder problems, so hard to tell if it's any worse because of PSP or just his shoulder. I have read on here at sometime (sorry, but I can't remember who it was or when), but they put a damp towel in the microwave and warmed it up, helped with cramping in hands and legs. You might give that a try and see if it gives you any relief. Hope someone has a better answer for you.

Yes, my guy did experience this or something like it. A chiropractor helped a lot! For him it was compression in his neck of the nerve that runs down his arm. He has some arthritis in his upper spine and some discs that are bulging, so any gentle exercise that stretches and straightens the neck is a help, too. His doctor also recommended getting a special pillow that would align his neck as he slept. We haven't gotten that yet, because the chiropractor stopped the symptoms. Good luck!
