Terry is having problems with his legs tonight, cannot stand to have the duvet on him, says it puts pressure on them! is this something that happens with psp? He is very down at the moment, and I can't seem to do much to help.I know many of you are going through worse times, but I would appreciate some feedback on this.

My son complained of the weight of blankets on him at night. So, we cranked up the heater and put less blankets on him. He died of PSP May 4, 2017.

You misunderstood my reply to "wifeofterrry". My son died of PSP on May 4, 2017, by refusing food through his PEG after many many traumas.

My reply was that my son also complained about the weight of blankets and so I took some away and cranked up the heat in his home.

I was letting her know that my son had died on May 4th of this year.

If it persists could the O.T. get a cradle, which holds the covers off ?

You know, David went through a spell of everything being wrong with the duvet, it lasted about six months. The screaming matches we had at 11 at night as I pleaded, shouted and everything else after trying every possible position, and them all being wrong after 45 minutes of minute repositioning. Thank god I have really good neighbours on that side of the house they must really of hated me.

I went and got a quilt from IKEA which was about 100 pounds for a double size one, I think it was tog 7.5 which would have suited David all year round, and that was better as it was really thin and light. It didn't solve the problem completely, but it did help. I also realised that Davids quilt covers were much thicker and heavier than mine so we swapped some around and that seemed to help a little too, but we never got quite to the bottom of it.

My dad also complains of heavy blankets. We got him a heated matress pad and he sleeps with a sheet or very light blanket. He loves the heated mattress pad!

There are bars to lift the sheet and blankets off the feet.
