My sister 81 year old with PSP not able to talk much feed herself very ridgid has woken up (in nursing home) with a abrasion size of a two pence price on her cheek. Staff say they think she has been rubbing her face against the sheet or rubbing it with her hand? I am baffeled about this anyone had experience of this?They say they look in on her every two hours and sometimes have to change her but they didn' notice this till the end of their shift.I am very upset about this and can' t understand why they didn' t notice it earlier?
