Hi all, is anyone else trying out the new layout? Really don't like it. The reply box is far too small, so it's difficult to see what you have typed. It will be very hard for everyone with PSP and struggling with their eyesight!
Also, you can't see what the latest posts are. Any question you post, all the replies come to your web page, but I don't know what is going on in anybody else's blog! You have to just keep going through each one!
I have sent two feed backs to health unlocked, but as yet they haven't replied!
I have pointed out to them, that lots of people, just read the posts and don't actually answer, so how are they going to follow what is going on and I'm sure those people are getting just as much out of the site, if not more, than people like me, that are on the site a lot!!!
It's a wonderful site, we all get so much from it, but I really feel this new layout is wrong. I don't know what's going on anymore, therefore might be missing something that could really help me. My time on the site has already gone down and I have only been trying this new lay out for a few days. I can see the time coming, when I don't bother.
PLEASE! HEALTHUNLOCKED, CHANGE IT BACK, I NEED THIS SITE, SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE WHO USES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can everyone who agrees with me, write to HEALTHUNLOCKED!
Thanks
Lots of love
Heady

i dont know what the problem is with not being able to see the blogs = all i do is click on the question or new posts buttons and you can see the latest blogs
Honeymaker, there are already forums on Yahoo Groups AND Facebook that work well and give good information. Not to mention the USA site CurePSP.org. Jimbo
Heady, I agree with you. When Yahoo Groups went to a new format we lost many of the good features. I was in software design for computers for my total career and know there is no excuse for this. If you ask the users and get their input you end up with a great site. If you just make decisions based on what YOU think you mess it up. It's obvious they didn't ask many, if any, users what was needed and necessary to have a great site. Yahoo eventually did add some things they removed back but not all the great features it had before the change. Let's hope Health Unlocked is listening to us. Jimbo
I love this forum though don't have experience with any others, so can't tell how it compares. I find the "newsfeed" feature helps me follow the most recent replies, even if the original post was some time in the past. I'd be interested to understand how this could be improved, if any one could explain? Thanks, Easterncedar
I'm a little lost on this one Heady. A while back when I clicked on an item I had a small window open that was too small to be convenient, is that what you are referring to? In the version I had, in the top right corner of the window was an option to open with 'Safari' (the apple web browser) and when I clicked on that the full screen opened in it's usual format. After several days the small window ceased to appear and I go straight to the larger and more convenient form. I don't know if this is peculiar to 'apple' but it was only a nuisance for a week or so.
If you can only get the small window version I agree many people won't bother, which would be a disaster. I didn't have the benefit of this site but would have really benefitted from it's content and support. If I have got the problem you are having correct I will certainly contact healthunlocked. Regards, Jerry.
It may be just me but I haven't noticed any change recently! Like Shasha I click on the Posts or Questions button and get a list up of the most recent. Of course it may be that way because I'm a Mac user. I do agree though, if it becomes more difficult to use fewer people will be on the site and that will be to the detriment of all of us. This site is invaluable and should be as easy to access as possible.
They have bought out a new version, which I was asked to try. So I an presuming those of you who don't know what I am talking about, haven't got!!! Be grateful, it's "xxxxxdxxs"
HELLO HEADY - NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT !! AS I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO TRY OUT THE NEW SITE - TO BE HONEST I DONT LIKE IT AS MUCH AS THE ORIGINAL SITE BUT MAYBE WE WILL ALL GET USED TO IT ?
I've been asked to try it out as well. Only seen this page so far so here's hoping we don't have as many problems as when the site was changed last time.
Thanks, Heady, that explains it! I'm glad you're vetting the new version and are advocating for ease of use. I don't want to lose the good features I have come to appreciate!
Hi Easterncedar, I think it is already effecting our site! It's very quiet. Can't believe everyone of us in a good place at the moment and nobody new has joined the site. I just don't know what is going on. The only contact you now get is any new blog and replies to your own post. Unless you plough through all of the questions, you don't know what people are saying.
Also, the reply box is four lines big, so I already can't see half of what I have typed to you. For those who struggle with their typing will have serious problems!
