so, my annual biopsy was scheduled for Jan, Vanderbilt called a while back and said the doc had a scheduling conflict and would I mind changing it to late Feb, I said sure thing, no problem and now they called and said would I like to schedule it for Weds, Feb 6th, yup, 2 days from now...I was kinda anxious about it being just 2 days away but the doctor who would be doing it is my regular doctor who has been with me since day 1 and he suggested that they call me because he knows me....I was like, ok, now I feel better but still, just 2 days away, I have to get myself psyched up for this....ah, good times

Good Luck! Hopefully, it will be much easier since you are already familiar with the overall experience of the procedure. Be sure to tell them if you may be experiencing anxiety. Perhaps they can give you a little something extra to help for that.
(One of the mind/body tricks I use with some procedures is to try to "relax into them", instead of getting psyched-up for them. It's akin to doing full body and hands muscle relaxation during dental procedures, rather than gripping the arms of the chair with white knuckles.)
Whatever works!
