2 months post Robotic daVinci prostatectomy. Non nerve sparing. Will Viagra or other ED meds help with incontinence issues along with Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?

Still mostly incontinent. Found and using a penile clamp 2-3 hours at a time for training the bladder to fill and empty.

Appreciate any feedback. Follow up with Urologist in a few weeks.

No, in fact they will interfere with continence and should only be taken as needed.

I had RP at 62. After 60 days + post surgery I was down to one pad per day but the incontinence stubbornly persisted. I asked my Uro/surgeon about penile rehabilitation on one visit and was it too early to start. He said it was not too early and gave me a sample package of Viagra I guess a drug rep had given him. After I took the first pill (which worked pretty well) my incontinence completely dried up. Now it could have been totally a coincidence time wise but that is the way it happened with me. If you doctor says you're healthy enough to use one of the ED drugs ask him if you can give it a try.
