2 months post Orgovyx

I had my 3 month check up yesterday. A little background, 10 months of lupron/Eligard followed by12 months of orgovyx. I stopped using orgovyx two months ago and my psa came in at <.02 and testosterone rebounded to 233. I thought that was quite impressive for only two months. Hot flashes have dramatically subsided although not disappeared completely.

Why did you stop adt? Is it the doctors belief that you might be cured?

I was supposed to stay on it for24 months but the side effects were getting to me. I asked my MO that exact question. His reply was "maybe". I'll take it 3 months at a time and hope for the best.

Getting off the ADT, allowing testosterone to return and closely monitoring PSA sounds good to me. You’ve been on ADT for 2 years total already.

However, you did not tolerate the abiraterone and had a heart attack so I hope you’re safely getting plenty of exercise.
