Gold Markers Done

Yep it was a lot of nothing. Several pinches and done. Question..they are doing a CT and MRI same day next week. I’m sure it’s the planning for the SBRT but are they also looking for changes? I took me 5 months to figure out what treatment I wanted. I hope they don’t change it if there were changes, I’m really hoping for the monotherapy. The prostate was 29.2 CC when I had my biopsy months ago and the other day it was 30 CC I hope I didn’t wait too long.

It's just for planning. I'm not sure what you are making of the fact that your prostate is still exactly the same size.

Thanks, the original lesion seen in my MRI was 1.9 x 0.6 cm with possible EPE I guess I’m just nervous its bigger and pushing the capsule more. I’m sure they’ll let me know next week.

MRI is lousy at detecting EPE. I still don't understand your comment - it's not bigger- the two numbers you gave are exactly the same, a difference of 0.8 cc isn't even measurable, if that's what you're referring to.

Yep that’s what I was referring to, I was thinking maybe the lesion increased the size of the prostate.

That's not an increase. Prostate size is an just a rough estimate and differs a lot by different measurements.

Not what you're looking for?
