My husband had prostate cancer, Gleason9-10, after being on "watchful waiting"-i.e. waiting but no watching. ;-( (At UCLA) He had local spread by then. He had had 3 TURPS years ago for BPH but not cancer, so he couldn't have more surgery at the time of CA diagnosis.; He was treated by Chris with 5 days of rad. and Lupron. PSA went to neglible, but after over a year, has gone back up to almost 8. Chris said he could give him more very targeted radiation, still in pelvis, He got another Lupron injection, referred him to a medial oncologist, them Chris disappeared. We were just hoping that he didn't leave because his radiation protocols hadn't been working, We really miss him. We wish he had told us he was leaving in person.

It was sudden. Email him - he wants to hear from his patients.
