I had my prostate removed robotically in 2013. I’ve had a reoccurrence and have had 10 daily radiotherapy treatments so far, ends beginning of January. Am on hormone tablets too. Fatigue a big problem but continuing to exercise daily.
Really annoying that this has come back.

Similar to you I had prostate removed at age 55. Felt great. Two years later came back it had grown out side the prostate and surgery did not get it all. Had 35 radiation treatments. Felt great. Several years later PSA started going up again. Still felt great. Make a long story short now at 75 on Lupron every three months and Xtandi every day. Feel terrible. In the lymph nodes and several other places but no pain . Just feel terrible from side effects of drugs. Thankful the last 20 years was as good as it was but not looking forward to what is ahead if the last year is any indication of what is ahead.
Yep it's annoying but no one here likes this shit......Can you give us more info regarding yourself? Age, location, treatment center(s), psa/gleason scores, doctor's name(s). All info is voluntary but it helps us help you and helps us too. Thank you.... Keep fighting!!!
I am 71 and live in south London. I go to Guy’s Cancer Centre for some consultations and have my radio therapy at St. Thomas’s, this is every weekday and finishes early January 2020.
Prior to my prostatectomy Gleason 3+4 and PSA 9.8. A Mr Cahill did the op.
Post op PSA 0.03 in 2015,
PSA 0.2 January 2018
PSA 0.4 August 2018
PSA 0.9 March 2019
PSA 1.19 June 2019
PSA 1.27 July 2019
PET scan and MRI showed no evidence of reoccurring disease. I was put on 150g Bicalutamide- no sweats, some breast tenderness and Grade 1 fatigue.
