Booking in appt, anything I need to do beforehand?

Hi all, I have my booking in scan on Friday, what should I do to be prepared? A friend said I should ask my family about medical histories, and write down any questions I have before I get there, as I'll forget them all, any other insights that can help at booking in? Thanks everyone!

yes that's a good one family histories...and just your history really and they test your wee so if u have one of them pots take it with u or ask for one when u get to ur g.ps as they will just ask u to try and do one..they take ur blood, blood pressure and that's prob it, oh they assess if u should be seen at ante natel clinic or back to ur midwife by all the info u give them, and u get ur blue maternity book!! makes our a bit more real x

Hey, don't forget to take a few pound for scan pictures, but the machines don't give change so make sure you have coins. Make sure you drink plenty beforehand because you don't want to be hanging around waiting to go back in to be scanned again because they can't see. Congratulations and Good Luck. X
