Hello!

I'm new on here and was just wondering if anyone was on the same pregnancy journey as me to compare symptoms and things you've noticed about your pregnancy so far :) x

amanda7171 That's lovely, congrats! 26th of June for me. I have to say, my morning sickness has been the most strongest symptom I've experienced and definitely the worse! Sore boobs second, especially in this freezing weather

June 12th, I just need to eat all the time to keep the nausea at bay, not been sick yet but put on a lot of weight already. Sore boobs and weird muscle stretches either side in pelvis but generally ok x

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toPurpledazzle27

Purpledazzle27 congrats! I can barely eat, I feel put off of most things I enjoy because of the nausea such as cheesy beans on toast even flavoured rice as of late - very random. Sore boobs definitely, they've also grown a little - I've also been having strange grumbling and bubbling noises, sounds like a mini construction site in there x

amanda7171 profile image
amanda7171 in reply toPurpledazzle27

feel the same I find iced water helps with feeling sick and I bought travel wrist bands they are helping a bit. can't wait to bloom!!!!

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toamanda7171

Ah that doesn't sound like a bad idea! I think I can wait, already struggling to put on my jeans with this bloat!

Congrats all! So lovely to hear all your due dates! I have been having terrible nausea, haven’t actually been sick but feel sick all the time and the only this to stop me feeling sick is to eat!!! But totally weird I have gone off all sweet food and only like savoury things! I was such a chocolate monster before too!!! So strange! Boobs also huge I have already invested in a new bra! And it’s amazing makes so much difference!! X

Jska profile image
Jska in reply toLallcat

Congrats! Thankfully i haven't been very sick yet but i've noticed a huge change in taste, i just can't stand some of the things i liked the most

Lallcat profile image
Lallcat in reply toJska

No all the things I used to like I can’t stand the thought of!!! It’s so strange and fascinating at the same time!

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toLallcat

I've noticed I've gone off all dairy at the moment, it's completely stressing me out as I'm a cheese lover! It's very strange how much my taste has changed in such a small amount of time. The nausea is extremely frustrating too because I never vomit but I feel ready to be sick 24/7. A new bra is a shout! None of mine fit anymore (I've been sporting sport bras as of late for comfortability :) ), but I think I might get one a little later as I fear they plan to grow some more! x

Lallcat profile image
Lallcat in reply toBabyBH

I brought this amazing one that grows with you! The lady in the shop was brilliant and suggested that one as it has lots of things to adjust it’s also a nursing bra for when baby arrives too! From jojo xx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toLallcat

That sounds amazing, I definitely will go and give it a try thank you! xx

It's crazy how much it effects your appetite, I wish I was told aha! Lucky, I'm quite the opposite, my boobs were already too big for me!😂

I'm due june 23rd. Same feeling of nausea but no vomiting. Stretching and pulling in pelvic area as well. But unfortunately my boobs haven't gotten much bigger. Hoping everything is fine.

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAcacia34

Congrats Acacia34 ! Ah that is a shame but I hope it passes soon! At my antenatal meeting, I plan to ask if I could get anti-sickness pills. You're lucky with that, any top I wear looks ill-fitted because of it so I've been wearing jumpers non-stop. I'm sure everything will be fine, stay positive! x

Thanks I go for blood work today o check hcg levels but I did see doc yesterday to confirm pregnancy. So far so good. Had a miscarriage in June of this year So I think that's why I'm so anxious this time. Really want this bean.

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAcacia34

I'm sorry about that, I really hope and pray everything goes well for you! Will this be your first? x

Acacia34 profile image
Acacia34

No I do have 8 children. 6 boys and 2 girls. I just really love kids and wanted one more before it's too late. They all have the same father and we love having a big family. We both were so excited last time and when I lost it it was very heart breaking. So just hoping and praying everything goes well this time. Thanks for replying it's nice to be able to talk to someone.

BabyBH in reply toAcacia34

Acacia34 That's lovely! I come from a big family, really makes your childhood. That's very heart-breaking, you will get your lovely bundle of joy just keep up your positivity, don't let the fear of the past deter you from enjoying the beginning of this one! And that's okay :) , I'm always around for a natter anytime x

Acacia34 profile image
Acacia34 in reply toBabyBH

Thanks again. I do believe this one is doing just fine. I feel good. Symptoms are progressing and have a scan November 28th. I can't wait to see my little bean. Congrats to you as well. Keep up the positivity. Everything will be fine for both of Us.

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAcacia34

That's okay! And Exactly, all we can do is be happy and hope for the best, worrying never helped anyone. Oo very lucky, let me know how your scan goes! :)

Thank you and I will and so should you! Everything will work out with our little beans, stay happy Acacia34 x

I’ve calculated that I should be due middle of June!! I had a miscarriage the end of August and pretty much got caught straight away! I am over the moon to be carrying my rainbow baby.

I’ve had blood tests and a pregnancy blood test which came back positive yesterday! - I have my first midwife tomorrow, a little nervous but also very excited. - just getting very impatient and really want a scan now!!

I’ve been getting slight stomach cramps and looking bloated all the time, feeling sick a lot, and once I cook it comes to eating it and it’s I’m put off because I feel like I’m going to chuck up!! - but the worse one is the tiredness... but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world!!

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toMeganLilly

MeganLilly That's very exciting, congrats! I'm sorry about your miscarriage x

Oh you lucky thing, good luck with your appointment today and let me know how it goes! :) I really want my first scan more than anything I think it would just make it all that little more real and exciting!

I've been cramping a little here and there as of late but no spotting thank god so I'm hoping that's normal. My intense initial bloating is what made me know for sure that I must be pregnant - it was like a temporary faux baby bump! The nausea has been non-stop for me but as you say, I wouldn't change it for the world! x

MeganLilly profile image
MeganLilly in reply toBabyBH

2pm can’t come soon enough tomorrow for the first midwife, yeah I’ve had stomach cramps and no spotting which I’m pleased about after last time!! I just want to scream it to everyone it’s sooo hard to keep it in haha xx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toMeganLilly

Aw, so very exciting!! Scream away I say aha, I'm sure the rest of the world will understand :) xx

Hey I’m due about the 5th June -so far morning sickness has been a big change , I’m on antisockness medication and feel so 💤

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toRowing17

Hey Rowing17 , Congrats! Do you feel the anti-sickness tabs make a big difference? Ah no, tell me about it, could nap for England at this rate! :) gets some rest if you can x

Rowing17 profile image
Rowing17 in reply toBabyBH

They work amazingly , I can’t stop being sick if I stop taking them :(

An if I take them I just feel a bit queasy all the time -I’m feeling so tired today it’s unreal hoping to get a nap after work

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toRowing17

Ah okay, I suppose taking them is better than the latter! I'll see what they recommend for me. I have so much work to do that getting a nap these days seems like an unattainable dream :(

My rosacea burning flushing is out of control without my meds. Only 9 weeks preg, dont know how how im gona get thru the rest of my pregnancy like this. I sit infront of a fan with am icepack on my face 24/7 and sleep on them all night. Im miserable 😢

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH

Saminapatel I'm truly sorry you're feeling this way! Have you spoken to your GP about what the lack meds is resulting in, best to let them know as soon as possible - you shouldn't have to feel miserable in what's supposed to be an amazing experience! Try to distract yourself where you can, I'm always around for a chat, hope you feel better soon! X

Acacia34 in reply toRiee2017

I'm due the 23rd as well. Congrats. And yes it's normal. I do have other children but have had same symptoms as you. Morning sickness, sore boobs, fatigue, and swelling down below. We just have a lot more blood flowing down there so totally normal. Also for me when I got farther along with my other pregnancy would feel a bit more pressure down there as well. Not sure if that's linked to us feeling swollen early on but most sure of it. If I speak for myself. Everyone's different though. But it's totally normal. Hope this helps and congrats.

Due on 20th. Had early scan today. Sore nipples, gone up a cup size, constantly nauseated, been sick at work. Also a really sore hip when I put pressure on it. Fun and games all round really. :-)

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toCrumbleBee

Congrats! Ah bless, you've really been through it. Nausea and bigger sore boobs are definitely no fun for us at all 😂

CrumbleBee profile image
CrumbleBee in reply toBabyBH

I'm just a wimp tbh. :p Until they kicked in, I was really anxious. It's getting better- moisturising and getting a bigger bra helps with the sore boobs. Still not a fan of the nausea though!

June 10th for me. Pregnant after 3rd cycle of IVF (ICSI).

Didn't really get symptoms until about 7.5 weeks then BAM lol 😂

I vomit all the time, doctor thinks it could be acid reflux I'm not sure but it's horrible. My saliva production is crazy, I have to spit all the time as my mouth fills with saliva so quickly! Boobs are occasionally sore but not too bad, although I do have quite sensitive nipples.

More tired than usual, I can sleep about 9pm now and would usually be up until 11/12 xxx

Amanda86 profile image
Amanda86

I've also gone off most foods and I loved my food!! Have actually lost weight (around 5 pounds) which I think it down to the vomiting. Hoping it passes soon 🤞🤞 xxx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAmanda86

Amanda86 Your symptoms are pretty much mine especially with food! I was having a lovely pizza the other day which is one of my favourites and a wave of hard hitting nausea stops me from being able to eat it, I had to be made tomato soup with buttered dipping bread instead! Tragic x

Amanda86 profile image
Amanda86 in reply toBabyBH

Going off food is heartbreaking!! So far today I've not been sick so hoping maybe the sickness is easing now, I've been feeling very hungry too although I do only fancy some foods.

We're out for an Italian tonight as it's my birthday tomorrow so just praying I can find something I'd like to eat and I won't vomit it up half an hour later 😂😂 xxx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAmanda86

Good luck with it 😂 and happy birthday!! xx

Ladies when should I expect my first midwife appointment, a few of you have said you have yours in the next couple rod days or have had them! I am worried they have just forgotten about me as I haven’t heard anything! And I will be 9 weeks tomorrow! Is that normal? X

Amanda86 profile image
Amanda86 in reply toLallcat

My first appointment isn't until 27th November when I'll be 12 weeks 1 day. I think it just depends on your area and how busy they are maybe? Xxx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAmanda86

Amanda86 We have an appointment on the same day, let me know how it goes!! xx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toLallcat

Lallcat You're supposed to have it before 10 weeks I believe. A lot of people said they waited but I didn't even know you were supposed to do, I was told to book mine so I went to my local health centre practice as recommended by the nurse who gave me another pregnancy test and booked an appointment with the midwife and the receptionist calculated and checked for appointment dates that were just under 10 weeks. I have mine on the 27th of November! Have you tried contacting anyone about it? x

Amanda86 profile image
Amanda86 in reply toBabyBH

I contacted the midwife team (was given the number from IVF clinic) and it was them who gave me my appointment date. So I guess it must have been the first available appointment they had?

Quite rubbish really if it should be before 10 weeks 😡I'm 10 weeks today xxx

BabyBH profile image
BabyBH in reply toAmanda86

Amanda86 That is rubbish! Mine will be at 9 weeks which is still very close to ten, not really a thought out system really. I would advise anyone without an appointment to call in and check if it can be booked! xx

Hi ladies I’m due 16th June 25 first baby, I’ve just read all the comments and I’m freaking out everyone has got nausea and sore boobs!!! Why don’t I? People keep saying it’s normal! I have got kinda sensitive boobs NOTHING like how they were two weeks ago, and I have felt sick maybe 7-8 times in the 9 weeks I’ve known I’m pregnant I know some people don’t get it but I’m scared! :( saw a heartbeat at 6+7 only thing I’m clinging onto, I have pulling stretching and twingg cramps throughout the day severe constipation and urinate through the night, but even my tiredness is easing up it’s still there but nothing like it was last week :( so scared can’t cope , 12 weeks scan is 4/12/17 I don’t think I can wait that long 😩xx

Don't worry, I don't/didn't have much symptoms, no nausea no sore boobs, not even cravings. Just had my dating scan few weeks ago and everything is good.

Just consider yourself lucky :)
