Hello, just wondering has anyone else specifically got a low lying Prosterior placenta? I have read that there is a least likely chance of a prosterior placenta rising ups it is at the back of the uterus. I found out I have this at my 20 week scan. I was moved to consultant care then for the first time. This is my 3rd pregnancy and the first time I've been faced with something like this. I am going for a scan in about 7 weeks time, I'll be 30weeks then. It's not covering the cirvix, it just tapers down to it but they would like it moved at least 2cm more away upwards. I would not like a c section as I've 2 young boys to look after and have no one else to help me mind them. Anyone have this experience in their pregnancy and what was the outcome, I'd be appreciated to hear your story. Thank you kindly.

Mine was like this at my 20 week scan. By the time I had one at 28 weeks (I had gestational diabetes) it had moved right out the way. I think they usually do.
Miss Ed, I appreciate your response and your story. I am glad all went well for you. I am sorry to hear about the GD, somehow though I think I would prefer to have that than a persisting low lying placenta. It's just my anxiety talking here. I am happy to hear your reasurance ❤️. I will let you know how I get on at my next appointment. Thank you
