Good Morning all, just wondering if any of you lovely ladies had your baby in any of these 2 hospitals in the recent years!! My GP got me to register with St. Peter’s but now 1 of my close friend is recommending Frimley as she had her baby there. So now I’m really confused. I’ll really appreciate if you would share your own experiences and help me choose where to have my baby!! Thank you. xx

*Help* St Peter’s OR Frimley Park hospital?
Hi there, it depends where you live. Where I live you can go to Frimley or the hospital in Reading for example. Other places will have other choices. So I do know some people who have been to Frimley. Tbh I would say every place you will hear good and bad. I would pick the closest to where you live. If you end up having contractions in the car to the way to the hospital you’ll be counting every minute
Hi Claire, thanks for your reply, I appreciate. Both hospitals are 15 and 16 minutes drive away from where we live, as we’’re in the middle. If either of them were further away I would’ve chosen the closest one. So it’s not making things any easier for me to choose. 😂😂
Oh right 🤣 ok so in that case i would check things like facilities, so is there a midwife led unit? Are there water baths/pools. What are their covid rules like.At one point here the hospital in reading had better rules for bringing partners to scans for example compared to Frimley but then later on Frimley had longer visiting hours. So perhaps check out some local groups and ask stuff like that or see if the hospital has a Facebook maternity page x
