Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi,

I miscarried at 14 weeks in October and suspect that I may be pregnant again as I have the same feels that I did the first time around. The only exception is the breast tenderness.

Is there anyone that can share their experiences of conceiving within 3 months of a miscarriage?

Looking forward to your replies.

Regards,

D x

I’m so sorry for your loss at 14 weeks, that must be really hard to cope with. I had a miscarriage in September and I’ve been TTC since November. I only ovulated in December and I really thought I got pregnant as I had breast tenderness for 2 whole weeks but even if it was late my period did show up! It was a huge disappointment. I don’t think you should be concerned if you are pregnant again, many women get pregnant immediately after a miscarriage, even when before their period returns. I can imagine that for us who suffered a loss, it might be a time of uncertainty and anxiousness, but try to relax and be happy to be pregnant! So many people, including me, are waiting to get pregnant again with a rainbow baby, I literally can’t wait! Try to enjoy each day, every day is a given. When is your test day? I hope it all goes well for you.

We miscarried beginning of June last year and I got pregnant again after my first period returned. Currently nearly 6 months with healthy girl 😊 x

Hi, I miscarried in September 2018, I had a missed miscarriage so only found out at my 12 week scan. I had medical management for that, I then had a period in the October and a positive pregnancy test in the November. I think I felt more pregnant the first time round, I didn't have any sickness but I went off coffee which I normally live on! Which was why I bought the test, I didn't like my coffee and then realised I was 3 days late for my period.

The second time I didn't believe the test and must have done about 20, I wanted to be pregnant so much and I started testing on the day my period was due, so the first positive was very faint. I got through so many I even ordered some online so I could stop getting them from my local shop 🙈.

My little girl is 5 months old now and so blooming gorgeous.

Wishing you the best of luck xx

I had a positive pregnancy test at the start of December along with severe sickness but upon a visit to the hospital, I found out that there was still tissue from the past pregnancy left on my cervix. It was removed and a day after my period returned as normal.

Fast forwarding to now, I’ve had severe bloating and dull pains in my lower abdomen, just as I did the first time around. My period is due in a few days so I’ll wait it out.

Thanks for your reply.
