Worried! First pregnancy after miscarriage

So I took a clear blue test indicating I conceived 2-3 weeks ago making me 4-5 week pregnant. I have period like pain, no bleeding, sometimes get a bubbling sensation in my abdomen wondering if this is normal? I miscarried last year and I’m absolutely dreading it happening again. Thanks! ☺️

Hi Hun, I'm 24 weeks pregnant after 2 missed miscarriages & I pretty much had cramps/ period type pain most days until fairly recently. It scared me a lot so I had 3 scans before 12 weeks as I needed constant reassurance. I still have the pains some days now too but far more randomly & as I feel the baby move now it's far less worrying. I was told by my EPU that unless I also had bleeding not to worry. Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy x

That’s nice to hear, thank you! I have an appointment at EPU tomorrow hoping they can reassure me a little as all I’m doing is waiting to miscarry x

I was exactly the same honestly, at my early scans especially I expected to get bad news. I didn't enjoy this pregnancy at all until I could feel him moving... Even now I don't take anything for granted. Fingers crossed you get good news tomorrow & slowly begin to relax 😘 x

I’m so glad it worked out for you! I don’t think I’ll ever be calm until I have the baby in my arms ha. I’m trying to stay positive. X

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I also had period like pains etc until about 16 ish weeks and was terrified as I had previously had a miscarriage. I did have cramping and bleeding at 6 weeks twice but thankfully all was ok xx

Hi Hun, I know the feeling. Had a MC last year and now 24 weeks. The first trimester I was in such a bad state, waiting to find blood on tissue every time I went to toilet. I had lots of cramping and different pains sensation, had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and all was fine. Focused to relieve my anxiety as I wans't enjoying being pregnant with so much worry, so I thought it wasn't good for the baby, started doing "yoga nidra" which is a deep yogic relaxation. You don't need to do anythingust listem to the voice and relax. There are great videos on tube, general, for back pain, for pregnancy, for anxiety. It really helped me to relax. After 16 or 17 weeks I was much calmer and started enjoying it a lot. Hope all goes well for you. X

Congratulations on your pregnancy hun and sorry about your loss!

We've lost 2 babies and now have a healthy 5 month old son 😁!

I had period pain until about 14 weeks. Every time I got period pain, I'd just think to myself it will go away in 10 minutes and it always did! Xx
