Stretch Marks creams

Hello! Any recommendations on what’s best to use to prevent stretch marks? I already have a few scars, got them when going through puberty. My mum took me to the dermatologist at the time and he told me I probably had strong genetic predisposition for it so he prescribed me some medicated creams to help with the scars, although not much that can be done once the scars are there, so best to prevent them. I’m over 12w now and already have a little bump, and getting more and more concerned about stretch marks but don’t know which products work. Thanks!!

Sorry too say it, but no cream will prevent you getting stretch marks.

I had them going through puberty, when I was pregnant I used palmers stretch marks cream, it’s lovely but I still got them.

People swear by different creams, oils and potions, but unfortunately if your gonna get them, your gonna get them.

I thought I got away it, I was around 34 weeks and then started to appear lower stomach, eventually every other day, they were slowly creeping up. Look horrible to start of with, but not too bad now x

Bio Oil and a moisturizer with coconut oil and vitamin e in. Start now. I tended to apply alternate days, but that's not the official instructions for the bio Oil.

There are a ton of creams, ointments, and oils out there that promise that they will get rid of stretch marks, whoever this couldn't be farther from the truth. The best way to not have stretch marks is to try your best to prevent them in the first place. Since you are genetically predisposed for them, chances are your pregnancy will bring on a lot more, but drinking lots of water is linked to helping keep the skin's elasticity. Unfortunately, stretch marks are a part of gaining/losing weight, especially with pregnancies. I found this article that you can use to learn more about stretch marks: openfit.com/do-stretch-mark...
