Telling my partners children.

Hello everyone. So me and my partner have the great pleasure of telling his 2 children were expecting (my first) . And hopefully on Friday we will find out the sex. I'm basically looking for fun ideas on how to tell them. Has anyone else done fun reveals? All my family know so it's just the children. Something we can do quick as we will have a day to sort it lol. Xx

Depending on their ages and the length of time you have been in a relationship, you’ll have to handle it very sensitively.

They need to know that nothing changes between them and their dad primarily.

The girl is 8 and the boy is 6. They don't live with my partner and we've been together for 5yrs. There mum has had another child with another man who is 2 I think. So I think they'll be fine as the baby won't be living with them lol. And that's also why i want to do a fun reveal and id love to get them more involved when we start to buy things so they won't feel left out. And thank you 😊 xx

We did a gender reveal for my older children husband brought a balloon from amazon i think and filled it with blue confeti and got them to pop it (prob not enough time to sort this though)also made a cake with blue smarties inside if you had time (or the inclination !!!) to bake or buy one cut a section out fill with the baby colour and stick the "hole" back in ??? Xxx

I could do the balloon thing luckily our scan is very early so we have the whole day to get things done. I could maybe write on the balloon with something. I'm sure what ever we do they'll be excited (hopefully). Xx
