I’m 39+3 and woke up today feeling a lot less tired than I have felt for almost most of this pregnancy. I’ve literally been shattered the whole time. I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid for which I take medication to control but even still, I’ve really struggled to get up most mornings and have any sort of enthusiasm for most things.
Today though, I feel really good (touch wood!!!) and motivated to get the house tidy before my baby makes an appearance... it’s finally happened and about bl@&dy time too!
Has anyone else experienced this surge of energy at the very end of their pregnancy and is it a sign I don’t have much longer to wait?

I wish I had a surge of energy lol. I haven’t felt the need to clean or anything since I’ve been off work 😂 x

Well, that’s the thing as I have ignored most chores, only cooking meals and looking after my dog. I have felt like this for most of my pregnancy but today for some bizarre reason, I actually want to get a few jobs done. I’m not sure why and don’t have a temperature, lol 😂
How are you today? Any twinges yet? X

Lol might as well get all your jobs done today then you might feel differently tomorrow 😂.
Nope no twinges whatsoever. Been for a long walk today but think I will still be induced Tuesday she’s stubborn xx

Yeah, most definitely. I probably will be aching tomorrow and won’t get out of bed 😫 I’m just hoping that all this energy and movement will spur this little one in to wanting to come out (although I’m dreading that bit!) I’m ready NOW but clearly s/he isn’t yet 😬
Yes, they are hardy wee things and certainly have their own schedule!

Fingers crossed for you that you don’t have to wait too long now xx
I had the same with all my pregnancies, the nesting instinct sets in. You feel the need for everything to be ready and perfect, totally natural. I don't think you'll have long now. Enjoy the feeling but don't overdo it. Think you'll be meeting your little one very soon. Take care hun xx
