I am pragnet 20 weeks doctr saying do anomaley scan i am too much worried about this scan please tell me what is this scan and whats his effects.

It's a normal scan it doesn't affect anything but can help detecto anything nothing that might be wrong with baby its done in the same way your dating scan was done

It's just a routine ultrasound that all pregnant women get to check baby

Its just a routine scan hun. Makes sure all the babies organs and limbs etc are developing as they should. Also checks amniotic fluid levels. It does no harm tothe baby or yourself. Just relax and look forward to seeing your little one and how much the baby has changed since your dating scan x

I was worried about both my scans as last year I had a missed miscarriage, and found out at a scan, so I felt like I could never look forward to my scans. I found 20 week scan helpful though as I was paranoid baby may have a spinal problem as I struggled to take folic acid, everything was fine with baby though. They should also tell you at this scan where the placenta is located!
