Hi ladies, I'm getting worried today, had brownish discharge when I wiped this morning and some cramping. Anyone else had this, I'm hoping it's just implantation signs, had a mc this time last year and really want this pregnancy to be ok. I'm 37 yo and 5 weeks today.
Thanks in advance xx

Hi, I had bleeding in early pregnance and I spoke to th doctor and was able to have an early scan at the early pregnancy assessment unit at the hospital. Hope it all goes well for you. X
Yep give your GP a call and they should send you to have an early scan. brownish discharge is usually fine and i had it at 5 weeks too. They usually only really worry if its very heavy bright red blood ( like a period)
I had it with my first at 5 weeks and now have a healthy 6 year old. Try not to get to paranoid about having another mc. I was so worried on my last pregnancy after having a mc prior it wrecked my pregnancy from being worried about everything.
Thanks for your replies, it only lasted one day, however, I had more this morning, and it was 'new blood' but no cramping, and not much. I'm trying not to get stressed but it's difficult. My fiancé is being very understanding, especially when I'm crying. on the plus side, my boobs are feeling heavy and tender, so maybe everything will be okay. I have received my dates for midwife and first scan, end of May and middle of June respectively.
I had bleeding at 6 and 7 weeks. To be frank about it, both times it was triggered by 'sexual activity' which apparently is quite common. For me it was fine and I am now 27 weeks.
I would speak to your GP anyway and request an early scan. My clinic don't scan before 8 weeks as they feel it can be too early to see the heartbeat which causes more stress, so I had to wait until then.
Thank you, I went to a drop in clinic in London on Monday, we had to wait 2 hours but it was worth it. Had a scan, everything Seems to be fine, little bean is implanted in the top left hand corner, hence why my cramps are on the left. I have got to go back in the 8th for another scan to check everything is progressing. They could see both the gestational sac and the yok sac but they put me about a week earlier than I thought.
