hi so I go for my 12 week scan in the 17th of this month and within the last 20 minutes I've started to bleed I'm just wondering if it normal?

I think a call to your gp is worth while. Everyone is so different with their experiences of bleeding. I wouldn’t want to posture an opinion. Good luck and fingers crossed all is well.

Have you had any cramping? Some people can see through there pregnancies and still have a healthy baby but better to get it checked. I'd give your gp a call too x

It can be. I would speak to your GP though. I have had a bad experience with bleeding and a successful pregnancy where I also experienced bleeding. I was referred for early scans both times. It is quite possibly implantation bleeding still or something along those lines!

I’ve had quite a bit of spotting (I’m also having my 12 week scan on the 17th!) I rang the early pregnancy unit each time and they got me in for a scan... turns out I have some bruising on my uterus that is causing the bleeding. Definitely give them a ring for peace of mind a week is a long time to wait!

I would contact your gp regarding any bleeding in pregnancy, they can always refer you to your local early pregnancy unit for an early scan (we had one at 10 weeks) I bled for around 14 weeks in my pregnancy, luckily everything was ok but I definitely sought the advice of my gp/midwife for guidance/reassurance.
