How do you wash your baby's hair?

My 18 month-old hates having her hair washed and it's becoming almost impossible to do it! She demands "out!" when water is put on her hair and it gets worse with the shampoo. I think she must've had a bad experience with shampoo in her eyes.

Any tips on how to wash her hair with minimal drama? Do those baby visors work?

I hav the Same problem with my little girl and I've resorted to making it a game and washing he hair with a water toy that shoots out water. She doesn't realise I am washing or rinsing her hair as she thinks I'm playing a game with her. Don't know if that would work or not?

That sounds like a nice idea. I will give it shot!

The baby visors do work my niece hates having her hair washed especially when the shampoo is involved. My sister uses the no tears shampoo but she still doesn't like any water in her eyes. So she uses a rubberish visor and that helps, but she still has to have a towel close by, just in case.

The squirty toy is a good idea also.
