teething!

hello all you lovely people

my LO has just turned 6 months old and he is going through it with his teething. The only medication that works is abnesol liquid/gel and even that sometimes doesn’t help! He doesn’t have warm milk anymore due to this and has been having calpol a lot (as advice from the doctor).

He's always been a sleepy baby who loves to sleep and always settled so well. Now, he is incredibly difficult through the night and has me awake most nights multiple times. Whenever he’s awake he cries/screams. Also, whenever he’s laid/put down he kicks off too, but too an extent that he is literally screaming and not breathing!

Is this down to just needing reassurance and support as he is in pain with his teeth or could it be something else??

we are being very cuddly and letting him sleep in our bed every night now due to this, which of course we don’t mind but just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

hello we are just going through the exact same thing .

We had a good night sleep last night , we used neurofen as that’s anti inflammatory and it’s last 8 hours .

As well as the abnesol xx

Someome suggested to me just the other day before so worked great for us .

hello, my son is 5.5 months old and we are using calpol and anbesol, will switch calpol to nurofen for the anti inflammatory but can I ask why you aren’t giving warm milk ? x
