Hi there, I don't have experience of A vitamins in particular, but before I realised I was pregnant (I found out at around 6 weeks), I had been smoking, drinking, getting tattooed and taking ibuprofen.
God, that above sentence makes me sound awful, doesn't it?!?! I
I was terrified I'd done some harm to the baby, but the ladies on here, as well as my midwife, have said that babies can be quite resilient, and worrying about it is not going to be helpful or healthy.
It's good that you've stopped taking them now. When you next see your midwife, or go for your scan, you could mention it. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry.
Also, if you've not started already, I would suggest starting pregnancy vitamins and folic acid X
Hi, vitamin A in any quantity is dangerous only if derived from the animal form I.e eating liver etc. the plant form, which multivitamins are made from, is fine. If it's a specific pregnancy multivitamin then even better as you'll be getting the specific amount you & bump require, especially frolic acid x
