Nearly 18 weeks: Well went for my first... - Pregnancy and Par...
Nearly 18 weeks
Wow, congratulations 1st of all, did you have no idea then until a few weeks ago?
The cravings story is a difficult one to answer to be fair as every woman & pregnancy is almost in-different.
Im just behind you (seems) at 17+3wks and i have an incredibly sweet tooth on most days, but then it could change another day or two to savoury / spicy food another day.
xx
I'm close to both of you, I'm 17+2 today!
I'm mainly interested in proper food if you know what I mean. Not snacks but dinners! Lots of pasta and rice being consumed here.
I've kind of gone off chocolate. I'll eat it if it's there in front of me but wouldn't choose it. That is a MASSIVE change from before pregnancy!
Good luck all you November mum to be's
Known a while but hospital had my notes at foetal care as I had twins in my last pregnancy I've got 5 boys altogether lol, I love cheesy things at the mo x
5 BOYS, You're a absolute star. & yes i go through stages of cheesy things too "espicially when melted) Mmmmmm!
This is my 2nd child & i feel exhaused most times. xx
I have got 2 boys and would love a girl this time but think it is a boy I wont be disappointed if it is just would like a girl. Got my 20week scan on Thursday this week, so excited, not going to find out though.
So will you not get a 20w routine scan from the hospital then for them to possibly tell you the sex?
my cravings were strawberries (when my sickness settled for a few weeks). fresh strawberries, strawberry ice cream or sweets. now its settled i dont have an really. sometimes ill crave aspargus and baby sweetcorn but never eat it as the craving goes quickly. i liked cheese too! but now everytime i eat a little bit it makes me ill so cant eat it anymore
this is my first baby and was adimant it was a girl!! but nope im having a boy x
i never really struggled with sickness just nausea, i went right off "sloppy" foods, couldnt have gravy with anything, and my mother in law (whos food i love) made me a casserole and when i was plating it up was heaving and it went in the bin, my mum put another portion of it in the fridge and even looking at it made me sick.
Right at the beginning i loved Haribo but hated the tast it left in my mouth afterwards the sweet cravings has now stopped so all the sweets i stocked up on are still there, if i could get away with it i would eat 20 bags of crisps a day but i have always liked crisps, and potato based things, Jacket potato, chips, mash (cheesy), boiled potatoes (i could go on).
I dont eat a lot of meat, dont like eggs or any fish but with the egg and fish thing now even the smell bothers me, but seem to be enjoying pork and bacon alot more, and also very happy with dry bread but that is also something i have always done, always loved cheese and that has not stopped at all
Like Laurah123 i was convinced i was having a girl but we have a little baby blue due in october
x x x
Awwww how cute there's a lot of boys this year, il still get my 20 week scan as normal but paying for a sexing scan on Friday so il shall let u all know xx
Everyone seems to be having boys at the moment. There is going to be a right old shortage for ladies when they are all grown up.
