brown discharge 8 weeks pregnent

i m 8 weeks pregnant last week I had bright red bleeding. I was very nervous because I had miscrrage first.then we we to hospital they did scan and said baby is okay but still I m greeting brown discharge on and off

Sorry to hear about the brown discharge. Have you been given progesterone pessaries to take? If not, ask your doctor about them.

thanks for ur reply. Now I m having light bleeding I went to the hospital today they said its normal and they were not doing scan for me. Thanks for ur advice as well I am gonna call my midwife tomorrow she if off today and will discuss about progesterone pessaries.

I had the same I had brown bleeding for around 2 weeks it eventually turned nearly black. Had a scan and everything was fine it was subchorionic hematoma which is actually really common. The midwife explained that it was bruising from implantation. Hope all goes well for you

yesterday I did another scan and thank God they said baby is fine. The spotting and bleeding is may be because of UTI.
