It's been chilly in Devon today, 5 degrees at lunch time

Hi all

Hope you've all had a good day.

I went out on my normal powerwalk/jog today and I have to say it was rather cool but dry at least. The sun came out when I'd got home.

I walked/jogged 11.14 miles which was 21649 steps. I was happy to see two swans today.

Hope you all have a good afternoon/evening.

Stay safe and well.

Thank you KoKo, I don't jog steep uphills. It'll ge powerwalking for a few days, need to be kind to my knees๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰.

Enjoy the rest of your day as well.๐ŸŽ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒป xxx

Thank you Alicia. Yes take it easy on your knees. Wonder if you take glucosamine to maintain. Power walking is much better than potato couch ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. Have a great evening Alicia. ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒปโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ™xxx

I will thank you KoKo and as you say power walking is better than couch potato, I couldn't stand that. We've got some turmeric with glucosamine which arrived today, I might try a copper bracelet as well xxx๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

in reply to

Oh turmeric is great๐Ÿ‘I add to my tea sometime too. Copper bracelet as you wear and it has properties to help with joints health?! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ŸŒˆxxx

Love the cuddled up in blankets, horses! Had to look twice! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Pnys really aren't they ๐Ÿ˜‚

in reply to Snowdrops_17

They are so cute and they were quite well camouflaged, took me a little while to realise they were there ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

Thank you Jerry, they were well and truly wrapped up. It's definitely a lot colder than it was earlier in the week. It was definitely cold where you are.

As long as it's dry and you're wrapped up it's fine.

Hope you're having a good evening Jerry.

Take care

Thank you. I've seen the horses a few times and they certainly seem to be well cared for, they are gorgeous.

How lovely for flowers to come in such a lovely container, what a lovely touch.

I'm in South Devon and it sure was cold here today! I had to put my winter coat back on. Roll on summer.

in reply to hypercat54

I agree, it was very cold, my hands were numb when I got back home. Sounds like we're not that far from each other. Here's to it warming up๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž

Lovely photos, I live on the east coast in Essex, I was really cold yesterday, when we get that east or north wind direction it is cold, the wind comes through my back door and window in the kitchen. Must have the door slightly open for her worship Lucy the cat so she can wonder in and out as she pleases, until I have had enough of the cold and close the door and heating on.

in reply to Pita

Oh the East is definitely cold as that is definitely where the wind was coming from. Oh you are soft as our cat has to ask us to open the door, he's called Dave our old cat that we lost many years ago was called Lucy. Think our Dave would like to live at Lucy's house.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Pita profile image
Pita in reply to

I couldn't agree more, I am too soft for my own good where Lucy is concerned. The verbal she gives me when I do close the door, I end up putting ear plugs in ..lol. Wouldn't have her any other way. I don't think Lucy would like to share the house with any other cat, it is bad enough when a cat comes into the garden.

in reply to Pita

Isn't that funny, our Lucy was very verbal but Dave the cat we have now is very quiet, apart from when he snores.

Our cat is big but a softie as he doesn't square up to many cats but having said that he was rolling around the grass a couple of months ago fighting another cat.๐Ÿ˜ฎ

That is chilly Alicia and I'm sure it was good to keep moving. Lovely photos and I see the horses were sporting some winter wear too, so it must indeed have felt quite cold!

in reply to

It really was chilly Sue, my hands went numb, it was good to warm up. The horses seemed so happy.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒป

Have a lovely rest of your day and pleasant weekend!

And hooray for a good long walk!๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธ

in reply to Williemom

Thank you. I'll be honest though I don't like the cold, bring me warm sunshine any time.

I'm glad the warmer weather is coming for you next week.

Thank you, have a fab day.
