Some doctors can be entertaining.

Yesterday i had a call from a doctor and he did make me laugh out loud.

Some of his rude, crude, dirty comments was not what i was expecting, but i found it rather refreshing to find a doctor with such a wry sense of humour.

I hope the tablets he's subscribed will help with my sleeping, but non the less i did feel so much better and refreshed after i giggled the afternoon away.

One of my doctors used to come through my till at Tesco and always bought quite a quantity of booze. He spied me in the foyer of the surgery one day and said to the receptionist "Treat this lady like royalty, she's got dirt on me"!! 😆😆 xx

Love that

For the first time I hear somoeone enjoyed a doctor. When u go see one, they come back with a new name of a deseas u never thought existed. One would swear they just sit down and look at a person and a name pops up. I am glad u had fun. U know what, u were collecting meds but laughter is medicine on its own, how ironic is that? That a double doctor😁😁😁

Hi secrets22, I think doctors like this one are quite rare. They have to know that you are receptive to a little fun and won't take offence, and it's a special skill to be able to read others as to their wavelength. But really lovely that you had the best tonic of all.... a really good laugh! 🤣🤣🤣

I was registered blind in October 2013, in December 2013 I actually got to see my actual consultant, not the one who took over my case (long story), my consultant called me in, asked after mum as she was in his books as well, when he looked at my left eye, he said, well it's well and truly $€¥¢®®\<} {. Up, can't put the actual word, and I wasn't in the least bit shocked or surprised at what he said

That's the thing isn't it you instinctively know when something is really wrong like I did when I had blood clots in my lungs back in 2017.

Glad your doc made you laugh and yes it's refreshing to see that they're human!Hope the tablets give you a good nights sleep.

I remember seeing a doctor many years ago. I was rabbiting on about my issues then noticed the doctor looked absolutely knackered! I felt really guilty so I said 'You look awful are you ok'? I bet it's the first time anyone had asked him that :)
