We know the new strain started in Kent ( locally we call it the blue water strain due to kent Essex and London mixing under roof there )
But what does everyone think the figure today would be if the new strain was not the cause ?
For me it would still be high due to blue water + lakeside
shopping in december
I would say 90 % of what it is today

Hi Jks1950, I entirely agree with Hidden . What matters now is not so much who or what has caused any of the spread as trying to find the fastest way out of trouble. As individuals none of us is squeaky clean when it comes to covid safety. Even an unintended slip of a mask or a visit to any supermarket has its risks. Best to concentrate now on vaccination and our way out.
