I write on here as many have been of great support
As I went out today I could see cars on the road and a slow return back to the new normal
I could see that people persevere with their lives with resilience and determination to carry on
I also discovered a new Aldi and a new Turkish shop near where I live so I will not be ordering on line anymore
Seeing life in a whole new light to be appreciative of what we have and to have the belief to create if possible a new chapter.
Our lives in this time of adjustment will never be the same again given the global economic impact as well those who have suffered as a result of this menacing virus
The key is to persevere with our life to the best way we can given our mental state or physical state

What you say is so right and people do persevere and although lot's may have changed, people find ways to develop into other areas. New opportunities open whereas areas that were once well established may find these changing times difficult but will find ways to adjust to these new times. It must have been a pleasant surprise to see a new Aldi and Turkish shop open. Life always finds ways to continue and move on. xx
Hi Roukaya, What a lovely positive post and I hope that feeling stays with you. We have no option but to take whatever challenges life throws our way, so it is a matter of deciding how we will react. We do have that choice. You can now also go out with a purpose to do your shopping and I'm sure that will be helpful to you, but please continue to be careful and stay safe and well. 🙏
I sae the beginning of a new life and deep inside I would like to make a new life for myself
I am also realising that we ultimately have a choice as you say to manage our emotions
We are at the last ten days of Ramadan and I try to fast for a few day’s then take a day off
I have just spoken to my Mother who I have learned gets sad and cross when she is disappointed with how she is treated by others especially near where she lives
She projects her unhappiness onto me
I will be starting to apply for jobs on a speculative basis as I would like to work and find a purpose in life
I'm so pleased to hear that you are doing so well. Be prepared for those days when you aren't feeling quite so upbeat, because if you prepare you can have a strategy for dealing with them. But you've done just marvellously. I guess your mother is always going to be a bit of a thorn in your side, and it's true, she has managed to project her unhappiness onto you. But now you see what's happening, you can guard against that too.
The very best of luck with your job hunting as well as your studies. Please don't be despondent if the job hunt takes a while to bear fruit. It can be frustrating, but just keep fighting with this new, positive spirit which you have. Nurture it and I'm sure that you can make yourself into a wonderful success! The end of Ramadan is coming fast now. You have done the very best you could to honour your faith in very trying circumstances. Soon it will be time to celebrate Eid! Take care and keep smiling! 🙏😊
Well said Roukaya. We will definitely have a new normal in the future. Hopefully our future will keep all the wonderful things that are happening now e.g. kindness, consideration, caring for others, sharing, community, being happy with what we have rather than wanting more and reject the things that weren't too good e.g. selfishness, greed, lack of compassion, only being concerned about oneself and so on. Like the Phoenix, we will rise from the ashes and be able to hug our loved ones again and enjoy our world again but this time we will care for it and protect it and all who live in it including birds, animals, insects and all of nature. It is a world to look forward to and prepare for. There are exciting times ahead. Stay safe. xx
Thank you for your concern. I have trouble with 2 discs popping and have osteopathy regularly to a) prevent it from happening too often and b) to deal with them when they do. I do have exercises to do but it is took painful to do them just now. I have heat pads and painkillers. As for how long it will take, I don't know. Hopefully will ease each day. I am not the most patient person normally but given the vivid situation I am certainly not in any hurry to go anywhere even if I could. Stay safe xx
I’ve noticed a lot more traffic on my road as people are going back work. I pray that everyone is able to stay safe and the test track and trace system is soon introduced so infection is not allowed to rise again. Stay safe ❤️🌈
But for of us the necessity of seeking work will apply after Ramadan
How do spend your time in Lock Down
Excellent post Roukaya, well said.
We really do need to be appreciative if what we have, not want want want like so many do. The current circumstances has shown how fragile life really is.
This is very true and our religion teaches us that true wealth and success comes from Allah
Also Allah can give wealth and take wealth if we do not give enough to charity
I do what I can but also we are tested in many ways
Some of us are tested with wealth or their health and family
I have issues with Mental Health which gives rise to anxiety
I hope you have a safe and pleasant day ahead
