We can dream and it's good to dream. I'd love to live abroad when it's their spring and summer and then come back when it's ours, we'd have bo short days then - result 👍🌈😊

Totally agree, I know it's there, do as I'm supposed to do but that's it. Let's just dream.💭💭

Feel depressed enough so trying to watch something I enjoy and teaches you may something valuable how to survive! But you still need family and people! My 4 walls drive me crazy now!🤯

Loneliness is a killer Alicia! It's a fact! When this Pandemic is over I definitely have to rethink of moving closer to my daughter! I miss my grandchildren and talking to my daughter! But it needs careful planning as a lot is riding on this if I would move! Ripon has been my home for nearly 27 years! It will be hard to leave if I would decide to! And I would need a job too! Here when I go shopping it's not as busy with queuing and it's easier! Would not like to have to queue for stuff I need! Anyway, now I feel inhibited with being furloughed and this blooming Pandemic! I know, many have lost their lives because of this virus and it breaks my heart💔

Glad I am still alive!

It really is, my sister in law lives on her own but she does have a dog and that helps a lot. She lost her daughter, our niece, 7 years ago, she was 38. What I'm saying now is I think it's made her stronger, she seems to have found an inner strength. To be honest I don't know if I could cope if I lost one of my daughters. I have 2 gorgeous granddaughters and I'm fortunate to have them not too far from me, around 10 miles. I've always said to my youngest daughter though, if you moved away I'd have to move, I'd find it hard without them, I'm incredibly close to my youngest daughter.

I really feel for you and it really is a big decision, you may have to go with your heart.

I'm an Invigilator so only work when exams are taking place but if course that's on hold.

I'm thinking of you.

Take care xx

Thanks Alicia ❤️😘

My daughter lives 36 miles away from me near Middlesbrough, so too far to form a bubble sadly!

in reply to Snowdrops_17

That's too far for you, I can see that, really is such a shame, the sooner this is over the better.

Please take care xx

During the pandemic we have been watching places online that we would like to visit to ease the sting of losing out!

Not much else to do in this cold weather really, is there? It's been cold today up here but glad rain held up! ☺️

in reply to Snowdrops_17

Today I went to the pub and met my sister in law for Sunday lunch which we enjoyed and had a nice long walk and talk as well and even when it was nice in the spring lockdown I had put on videos of places I would like to visit like the Shetland islands to help ease the sting of missing out on the usual things and also grieving for what had been lost as well and I found crying did me good.

Brilliant Snowdrops, we love Simon Reeve and watch whatever we can of him, such a nice, caring and fun guy. Thanks for this. Can I ask when it was on? We love his "Oh bl--dy hell", it sounds so Bristolian. xx

Oh I love this way of travelling Snowdrops_17. Never mind because I can't during covid, but I could never afford to travel so far and to do all of the amazing things that TV travellers get to do. I'll mark this for watching. I really enjoyed Miriam Margolyes' down under series recently too.

Its great that you can watch videos of places you really want to go to but can't afford to!

I could never move to Australia, it's far to far away! It never crossed my mind! Considering the fires they had due to draughts, bah, I stay in rainy England preferable. Wouldn't like a snake or crocodile entering my back garden in certain places! When young people with family move it's really devastating on the other family relatives.... Grandparents etc! Just couldn't do that! I moved from Germany to England and regretted that ever since!
