heartbreak and hope

Heartbreak and hope are not mutually exclusive. We can be angry and sad and filled with longing for something we cannot have, and simultaneously we can be grateful for what we’ve got — aware, for reasons we’d never choose, of what really matters and what doesn’t.

That's true is that.

I have been in tears this morning because I found out someone else got another job whereas I am having to wait and when I heard they had succeeded I just burst into angry tears because it's something I want for myself and it just felt like a smack in the face hearing that as I find it aggravating having to wait around.

I have calmed down now and don't feel full of anger and resentment like I did earlier on finding comfort in listening to music and having a look online to see if there was any jobs I was interested in and applied for the ones I was which is something I can do something about and my own behaviour like not having lashed out in anger this morning when I first found out which is to do with that I find my own situation unfair and when something like that happens it feels like a right smack in the face!

I'm glad you are able to move away from anger. Do you think life is more fair for others? I find that life isn't fair period.

Yes it often feels that way.

So very true, experience this every day since my husband had to go into care in July, at least I can speak on the phone and see him through a glass wall, grateful for small mercies but hard as no touching.

it seems looking for the hope or the grace or the mercy makes it more noticeable...

I have found hope has kept me going through so many bad really bad times especially past 5 years it was one thing after another I feel things are moving forward now though and I believe in astrology we go through phases in our life's we can't do much about, it helps knowing we just have to be patient for the next chapter to begin and never blame ourselfes for things going wrong or at least we can learn from our mistakes, sometimes we think what is happening and how we feel will never end but one thing is for sure in life nothing stays the same sometimes it just takes a long time I wish you well 🤗

thanks for sharing curly. psychology says we go through phases too. Seems like change is the one thing we can all count on.
