Several days ago member BrentW posted another of his lovely paintings and linked it to a beautiful piece of music, 'Sleep', by Eric Whitacre. I listened to a lovely version with lyrics on YouTube and following it another well-known Enya song played. It was the very haunting song, 'May it Be' which was composed for the movie 'Lord of the Rings'. Listening to it now after all the horrors of coronavirus and the pandemic, I heard it with new understanding, and somehow found a link in its lyrics to the position we are all in at the moment. Emerging from the darkness and finally looking forward tentatively to a day when we will all feel a little safer, now that the vaccines are seemingly making big inroads into the infection: Do you agree?
Thanks Callendersgal, I adore this song, it's my favourite of Enya's and you're right, it is a haunting song, just beautiful and very apt, as you say and I do agree.
Thank you for sharing this music with words from Enya. Just Beautiful & mesmerising. I’m a fan of Enya, So I’ll look out for this one.
I totally agree with you Sue and the song is haunting yet beautiful. I've watched all of the Lord of the Rings films and the music is so beautiful.
I'm feeling so much better now knowing that there is that light at the end of the tunnel and that we will all be able to hug each other again, I so miss the hugs with some very close friends of mine and it'll be lovely to be 'normal' again.
Such a lovely post and very uplifting.
Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.
Alicia🌈😊🙏🙏
This is beautiful, thank you
Thank you Sue. Beautiful and so apt for now as we see the light at the end of the tunnel. This time last year our son was so worried about me because I'm very high risk. We had a lot of long talks as he was so upset, he suffers with depression which obviously didn't help. ,All of our family and friends were worried but Mike took it badly., he felt better once we were in lockdown knowing I was isolating. We are all feeling better emotionally now. It won't be long before Mike can see Alannah and we can all get together with Ian and Chantelle. There will be hugs galore. Can't wait to see our other family and friends, hugs galore again!!!
Lots of love and hugs to you all Lynne xxxx ❤️🤗💜 🤗

When you look back now Lynne, we were all so terrified at the beginning weren't we and the very vulnerable especially so. You've weathered it all together with all of your pain throughout and now we do have real hope that we can make things controllable now, so long as we do it with caution. Great idea to look to the future when we can meet up again finally with our loved ones, missing from our lives for far too long! The day is coming, I'm sure.Hugs and kisses to you too and a big fat 'well done' for getting through it all! xxx🔆🌸👍🌈😊

Aww, bless you. Thank you!! I think everyone deserves a big fat ' well done' it's been hard for everyone in different ways. I think we have all missed hugs and our family and friends. Yes, I agree with you. We will still have to be cautious . Just wish my sister in law would have the jab when she is called for. She is looking for work, she works in retail. I'm wondering if she will have to have the jab to be employed by anyone?
Lots of love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️🤗💜🤗
