I had a PT (personal training) session at the gym today and overall I am pleased with the results although my body fat has gone up 2% since the last test but my muscle has gone up 2%, my hydration has gone down 2% (I know I need to drink more when I exercise, which I am going to do). My weight has gone up just over 2.5 lbs which isn't too bad but I will get it off as I'm not naturally small. My BMI was 22 in July and is now 23, which I know is still within the healthy range.
What I like about this test is it makes it easier to know how your body is made up and whether you need to work on a certain area like ensuring you drink more. The trainer was very happy with the results and particularly the Heart Rate Recovery Results which scored me as a fit athlete, I'm more than happy with that particularly as I was wearing a mask when I took the test.
Re reducing the fat, I know where I've been going wrong there and that's having a late night snack which I don't need. I'll just go back to a couple of squares of dark chocolate at night like I used to rather than a raw bar, 10g dark chocolate chips and 2 squares of 85% dark chocolate like I've got into the habit of doing.
I'm going to focus on the positives and that is that the muscle mass has gone up and I'm classed as a fit athlete, I'm more than happy with that.
Yoga for me tonight.
Hope you've all had a lovely day.
Stay safe and well.
Alicia

Hi
Well done with your results, though I'm not surprised you are classed as a fit athlete with all the exercise you do!!! Love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️🤗🌈💜
Wow, this is great. Your results are really encouraging. Excellent that your muscle mass has gone up and you're classed as a Fit Athlete. Really great!
I think we know you’re a fit athlete without a doubt. You are a committed athlete to say the least. You should be very proud of yourself. Well done. 👍👍😊
i admire your dedication but for me,the word gym makes me feel unwell lol,but saying that i get enough exercise working on our 2acre garden, but everyone does what suits them, and i used to walk a great deal, but since the Corona i dont manage it.
Thank you. The gym isn't for everyone and I'll admit my favourite exercises are power walking and cycling. A 2 acre garden takes a lot of looking after so that's excellent exercise.👍🌈😊
Greeeeeetings Crazyfitness .Kudo's to you . Like you I want to always be in better shape, or maintain my best shape .Redistributing fat for muscle ratio is important, and as I get older I have to work harder to maintain. My recovery heart rate is good. I work out harder than I should, especially , when exercising during my interval training, and weight training . My exercising heart rate is 240 beats per minute . My resting heart rate is 48 beats per minute. You can invest in scales that will give you those same readings. My scale tells me fat ratio, and muscle measurement, but not water retention. :
Oh yes, I always want to be in the best shape, I do push myself in the gym. I also love outdoor exercise ie. cycling/powerwalking.
Your resting heart rate is amazing, we have a blood pressure monitor at home and it's been a while since I checked, my pressure is normally fairly low.
Your scales sound really good, think I might invest in a pair.
Good workout at the gym today.🏃♀️🤸♀️
