I went out for a powerwalk through the woods and it was a tad muddy shall we say but nothing that a pair of walking boots can't handle, well that's if you have decent ones, mine were on the way out, they are definitely out now after wet feet LOL.
It was quite bright here first thing and when I started my walk but then it got duller as time went on and it's been really dank and dull late morning through to this afternoon before it went completely dark.
I walked 11.2 miles today, which was 22,314 steps and 874 calories burnt. I'm happy with that and would love to be able to do it everyday but unfortunately time does not allow. Maybe I'd be an inch shorter if I power walked every day LOL. ππ.
Hope you all have a lovely evening.

Hi Alicia, Lovely photos as usual. I agree with your comments as I belong to a walking group and wearing the right clothes and boots is so important. I love being outdoors and the last walk was 4 miles one way, we stopped at the pub for a lunch outdoors and kept social distancing. It was so enjoyable and a beautiful day. We then started to walk back. Unfortunately one member had developed a sore spot on her foot and she was beginning to limp. Her shoes were just not suitable for walking any distance. She wasn't wearing socks either. She managed to continue after applying some plasters and eventually got home safely. I dont mind walking if its cold as you can wrap up warm but I dont enjoy walking in the rain. But the one important thing to remember is to ensure we have the right gear. Hopefully lessons will have been learnt.Xxx
Thank you. It's so important wearing the right clothing and footwear, our daughter stupidly wears trainers and she now has blisters on her feet from walking yesterday, you would think she'd now by now, she is 38!
I'm glad you had a lovely lunch outdoors, it was very busy here yesterday on the coast with people buying takeaway coffees/food, so good for business. I cannot believe you wouldn't wear socks walking, that's crazy but to be honest it sounds so like our daughter.
I don't mind the cold and to be honest not bothered with drizzle but when it's raining hard then that's no fun whatsoever.
Have a great evening.

Lovely photos again very quaint bridge π€ππxx
Thank you Jerry. It certainly is very muddy now, I saw another walker yesterday and her walking boots went half way up her legs, just below the knee, they were brilliant.
Stay safe and well Jerryππππ
