Colours of Fall,
Show me, show me,
Show me All!
Orange, yellow, purple, reddish-brown,
And the rustling of the leaves as they fall to the ground.

Absolutely beautiful! π
Stunning & relaxing at the same time π
Good afternoon Barry
A truly amazing sight to behold.
One little correction, the Jacaranda flowers in mid Spring, followed by the leaves, as the blooms fall to the hot SA ground! Spring starts there mid August.
I had four beautiful Jacaranda trees growing beside my driveway to the house in Johannesburg. As you drove over the flowers they would make a popping sound.
Below the Jacaranda trees l had hundreds of Agapanthus plants, which were of a similar colour.
Every year l would marvel at this amazing sight. Especially when seeing them against the dark blue sky. They were stunning!
Best wishes
Tim
Tim, you make me feel homesick. I lived in Cape Town for 20 years and (although I'm English) I miss Africa so much.
Good evening topaz1
Thank you for your message, lovely hearing from you.
Once bitten by the African bug is sadly always fatal.
We returned to the U.K. after many years in JHB and CT, for obvious reasons. It does take some time to acclimatise to the many changes and differences. It is not ever possible for it to be an easy change, l believe.
Take care of yourself, best wishes
Tim
Evening Tim,
So you lived in South Africa at one time, I was there for 6 weeks in 2010 covering the World Cup. Beautiful country but so diverse in the way people lived, you drive through Hillbrow and see poverty and feel danger, and then 30 minutes later drive though Sandton and see luxury Hotels and restaurants. We were based in JB, but travelled to Pretoria, Rustenburg( very nice), Port Elizabeth (also nice) and Durban. My colleagues and I had no problems whatsoever, but also were not stupid, we went to Pilanesburg national park which was amazing and one of our photographers was originally from Soweto and took 5 of us there where we had a lovely time playing five aside football with some local 10year olds using coats for goals and a deflated football, its something that will be precious to me forever. The whole 6 weeks was more like a Holiday than work, but I must admit that Johannesburg was the only City I have been to in the world, and I have been to lots, that had barbed wire and armed guards protecting the more affluent housing complexes. Still a beautiful country though!!.sorry that was a bit of a waffle,
love to you and Carmen.x
Wow! Beautiful π
My favourite trees. Simply stunning.
Beautiful picture. Thank you Bazzak.
You feeling alright? A serious post????
Yes my darling, but thank you for asking. Didn't sleep too well last night and had to get up at 5.30 this morning to get Frank, so went back to bed after I dropped him off at schoolπ
Hope you're well π
