They may be locking us down again, but this is only physical. Mentally we are as free as ever. I have decided to surround myself with plans for next year's holiday.
I have chosen to go to a small hotel I visited several times with my Husband, Mother and Father. I have lost all 3 in the last few years, but this is my plan and I am not going on holiday alone! I have printed off many photos and put them in frames and an album.
I can picture the pool and the beautiful Terrace. There are several restaurants and the hotel is located about an hour from Barcelona.
That is were I am going to spend this new lockdown and there is not a thing any one can do to take it away from me.
Spanish food will help the weight problem and memories will keep me sane.
Anyone want to join my dream trip planning?
Stay safe π

Oh yes CAG53, I do my share of imaginary travelling too. I'm also a huge fan of other people who actually do it and vlog about it online. It's nearly as good as packing my own suitcaseπ
Excellent CAG53! Now how do you intend to travel? Taking your backpack and having an adventure, or sitting back in first class and luxuriating? ππ
Hi CAG53. I'm very sorry to hear that you have lost your husband and both parents in recent years. That is very sad but the memories made with them are going to ensure that you plan and have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy. xx
There was a programme on TV last night about an 8 day holiday on a special train travelling through Spain, ending in Santiago, always wanted to go there
In my dreams and thinking, I am going on that train. I shall only wear white linen and hair updoβs. Has to be a dream as a ticket is Β£5k but it will keep me happy imagining,
Stay safe Sopsx
