Another pub lunch

Sister's birthday today, so we went for yet another pub lunch table booked for midday Food was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired, the first 2 pubs we went to everything was fine, but this one, they were quite a long time taking the order, the food seemed to take longer, when we'd finished staff were around serving other people but again it was a while before they came to clear our table and give us the bill, bit it was on the government scheme so 2 main courses, 1 coffee and 1 soft drink £13.00 total

nice

When we went to our pub lunch earlier this month the service was slow and we laughed about how they had gone to catch the chickens!

Many Happy Returns to your sister Jennymary. It was nice you where there to share it with her even though the service was slow. Eating out is great value for money at the moment and it's helping support the industry also. So, a very fruitful day. 😊🌸🌼

I'm so pleased you got out for your sister's birthday but really sorry the service was poor this time, such a shame. I hope when you go out again you have better service.

Alicia🌈😊

A bit of a mixed review then Jennymary, but I'm sure it was nice to eat out and even better to have the government pay part of your bill! That's a great result! 👍

We went to a local for the government discount, the food was good but service slow, however for the price it was great and got us out for a while ours cost £13.48 for two mains two deserts and two soft drinks and the food was well cooked & presented. Pubs unfortunately have two types of trade for the staff to deal with so can be a bit of a wait.

We went to a well known restaurant chain for lunch on Tuesday .

First time out so a bit wary.

Absolutely fine ,well thought out ,food really lovely.

Staff a bit fractious and surly ,but possibly inexperienced-good order taken fine but rushed off and had to be reminded for drinks order -we were polite about it.

Enjoyable lunch
