Ive been to my pulmonary rehab assessment today (9/11) & they took my blood pressure whch was 120/80 -which I knew was up a tad because the last time the bottom no was 70

I then had my oxygen levels tested. I had to do some walking up & down the hall from one cone to another until I was told to stop & the results were

start of walk 94%

at 3 min 75%

after 1 min rest 90%

after 2.30 min 96%

after 6 min rest 90%

after 2 min rest 95%

The nurse noticed my oxygen levels went down drastically & she said something about arranging with north manchester hospital to get me some sort of what i thought she said was an oxygen machie

Ive got to keep going to these clinics for 8 weeks 2 sessions per week - its in a church hall in middleton

It was a bit scary to see my levels ha dropped that low

Ive gotta look at this traffic light system table to describe how i feel & intensty & what Im able to do which is very difficult -its something Ive never thought of before -all I know is when I do excercise & have to stop Im knackered & need to rest

Sara that does sound quite scary, but it sounds like you are getting the right treatment.

Hi Sara, so glad you’re doing the PR course....can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in terms of managing my COPD. I learnt so much. And I’m sure you will too. Much love, Poll x

Thanks Poll appreciate that

The main thing is that you are getting some concentrated help Sara_2611, and I'm sure you'll be supported in finding the right way forward for you. Filling out those tables is always a nuisance, but really worth doing as it can show up patterns in doing the things which make your oxygen levels drop in the way they are doing.
