Do you think the reason most people think about a red hammer may be because, as children, when we are first learning, these are the two primary thing we would learn about first, as very young children, in primary school. So when we are problem solving with math, and suddenly another question is put into the mix, we revert to what is very familiar to us. When thinking about it, that's what I think must be happening. That's only my personal opinion though, it might be a load of nonsense. 😊👍🌷
You could have a very good point. That is what I am saying though, it may be ingrained in us from childhood. That could be the reason I didn’t pick red hammer. 😂
I had a Red Drill, the sort with a 'Chuck' to allow different sized 'Bits'. There is another one, a bit like this... you are 'Supposed' to think of Carrots.... I got a large Cabbage!
I found that on one of my old files I think it was on a floppy disc, it is a bit freaky but where it came from ? Maybe 20th century? Aah! the good old days!
It is you saying axe, and me remembering your occasional problems with your beloved Mrs. When a good friend of mine's daughter was getting married, I had just seen a Speciality Outing Day advertised. Thought it was a wonderful present for the couple, so the new husband could see his wife in her true colours, ( she had been a Clay pigeon shooter at Uni and good at it). This day included Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery, but the best bit (and the bit I secretly wanted for me) was Axe Throwing, the sort of axes you would expect the Vikings to wield, to throw at static targets. I decided all women should have a days training in this art as a must prior to marriage.
It was the first programme ever shown on channel 4 way back in 1984 (I think that's the date offhand). It was a gameshow in the UK. It consisted of 2 contestants who picked 9 blind letters and had to make the longest word they could. Interspersed with this was numbers games where 6 blind numbers were picked and a random number generated which you had to make the 6 up into. I loved it and it was very popular.
