Just to releive the isolation

Yesterday against all odds I went to the local pub . I did not walk there I got a taxi up & back with a freind and we had a lovely two hours out first since March for social community purpose. Masks on but off to eat & drink and the money will help our local businesses thanks to government incentive. But not necessarily good for the waist line as we had two ice cream sundaes and they were quite large with cream & strawberries too. Good for the moral though. Enjoy your day everyone.

Well done for getting out and about!

Ice cream sundaes every now and again won't harm you!

Thats the word Empowerment, hopefully today will be good with all this sunshine . So make the most of it even if it is only a day off from work.

It was and the local ladies really looked after us. Doesn't take a lot to boost our moral. :) :)

We all need this sometimes and not always about calorie counting as our mental health needs that boost too and I can see those delicious sundaes in my mind - knowing that I would 100% want to do the same as the feel good factor is wonderful.

Now thats what I call optimism. Go for it Mydexter and enjoy, its not too far away now and hopefully nothing will cause a need to cancel. Its something to look forward too also I am hoping with help of a taxi to go to a Christmas day out with entertainment in November. Wish it was appointment for my knee op but Ive given up hope on that its just like its always been for arthritic need years of waiting lists. So next best is to enjoy what we can within our health capability. Stay safe
